The many assemblies

The many assemblies established were spread out and each one that Paul wrote to was having problems, just like today’s Assemblies. (This is an email a brother sent me. We had only been corresponding for less than a week at the time. We don't hold all the same views doctrinally, yet we seemed to rise above those seemingly ever important issues and develop a relationship based on the pursuit of the love....suffers long and is kind, not puffed up, does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not its own...does all this sound vaguely familiar)? Above all else you have to be yourself by doing what Yahweh has called you to do. Differences for some are a big problem because not all paths can be inspired by almighty Yahweh. Brother I am going to tell you something that you know causes all groups to be defensive and offensive by default. If a group is wrong on even one point then all points have to be assessed. I accept my faults and realize that I may be wrong but I want Yahweh to know when judgment comes that it was my faults that lead me astray. This is a standard that the scriptures say each of us held to for a righteous judgment. Assemblies are a tool but they are in no way a relay to Yahweh, Yahshua has taken on the mediator position. When Yahshua died and the veil on the temple was rent so was the Levites intermediation status with the Messianic assembly.
Men are going to be wrong, I am going to be wrong if I don’t follow Yahweh’s word or allow the Holy Spirit to guide me. What I want to teach is that we are responsible to Yahweh for the covenant that we enter into at baptism. I don’t want to come across as a loner just that when we are in the body we have to figure out what the head wants us to do. Maybe even though the arm is moving downwards the head wants us to move upwards. That is not to say that the hand is anything without the arm but together much can be accomplished but the final result may different than what the individual parts are heading towards.
That is kind of cryptic; let me put it this way. We have much to learn, it is clear that each part of an assembly is important and that each part contributes to overall being of whole. The assembly though can be found in many regions according to scripture. The many assemblies established were spread out and each one that Paul wrote was having problems. We can be assured that our assemblies have problems. One of the things that the assemblies Paul wrote had was the Torah and understanding of it. His biggest problem was getting those like the Galatians to understand Yahshua. We are mostly from a society that has forsaken the Torah so we have to open it up and learn but unlike the Jews that Paul worked with we don’t have the oral tradition. We don’t necessarily have the advantage of history and Hebrew education to guide us.
May Yahweh bless you brother. I hope this encourages you to stand firmly on truth because without our dedication we are carried from point to point by the whims of doctrine of men.
